End of the Century

Yesterday is a wrinkle on your forehead
Yesterday is a promise that you’ve broken
Don’t close your eyes, don’t close your eyes
This is your life and today is all you’ve got now
Yeah, and today is all you’ll ever have
Don’t close your eyes
Don’t close your eyes

This is your life, are you who you want to be
This is your life, are you who you want to be
This is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be
When the world was younger and you had everything to lose

Yesterday is a kid in the corner
Yesterday is dead and over

Great song.  And I think it really brings out the pertinence in the election.  Of course, I couldn't vote by 1 yr and 1 month.  But my state is obviously Republican as am I so we're all good.

No offense to you Kerry supporters out there too.  I mean, my own boyfriend is a huge liberal.  I just try to remember that no one is perfect. LOL.

Anyways, I actually had to go to school today but Kyle left me a nice message that I checked after I got out.  Basically we just ordered class rings.  The students were angry they had to be there, and the teachers didn't like waking up at 5:30 to go vote so early.

GILMORE GIRLS was sooo good tonight!  I think, at least.  I mean, I love Dean.  But I really like this new Logan dude.  It's alll sooooo awesome.  And poor Luke!

Yeah. We spent our whole psych class talking about the perks and downsides of Bush Sr, Clinton, Kerry, and this Bush.

And then we spoofed them.

They have their ups and downs. As liberal Kyle says, it's not the choice between Bush and Kerry anymore.

It's really the choice between 'fear of the known' and 'fear of the unknown.' Lucky for him, he turns 18 in exactly one month. Too bad.
